When you hear the words “business software” or “reporting,” your mind may be drawn to binders stuffed with charts and spreadsheets or conference rooms filled with executives who are trawling through slides. These images do not consider an important aspect: the ability to add value to business.
New technologies are cooperating with each other to transform business reporting and software. Machine learning and cognitive tools will take on much of the work and allow humans to do more interesting, meaningful work.
The winners of this new era will be able to redefine what it means to be a “product-led” company in the fullest sense and make their products the engines to attract customers, retention and expansion.
